Young Armenians from the “Taron” Dance Ensemble (Dance teacher – Angelina Nazaryan-Kocharyan) performed “Yarkhushta” and “Popuri” dances in Mtskheta at the celebrations dedicated to Georgia’s Independence Day.

Their performance was warmly greeted by the audience. The Director of the Youth Department of the Hayartun Center received an invitation from the concert organizers, who were so impressed by the performance that they offered the ensemble the opportunity to perform on Mtskhetoba on October 14.

The “Vank” Dance Ensemble and another dance ensemble ( lead by Teacher – Liana Kashavanidze) arrived specially from Karmir village of the Marneuli region also took part in the concert. After the concert, the representatives of the Armenian community took a tour of Mtskheta, visited the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral and other sightseeing places.
