The Council of the “Hayartun” Center at the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Georgia was reorganized PDF Print E-mail

On March 24, 2014 the “Hayartun” Center at the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Georgia hosted a meeting of the members of the Council of the “Hayartun” Center. Returning to the issue of the center’s work, the members of the Council highlighted the importance of Armenian culture and its development in Georgia, preservation of the Armenian national identity, convergence of Christian and national, traditional and modern values, to unite Armenians around the Church. They also stressed the significance of effective cooperation with Georgian intellectuals, artists and workers of culture for the deepening and future development of the Armenian-Georgian friendly relations.

Reorganized council made a decision based on recent experience to continue according to plan comprehensive cooperation with creative unions and civic organizations of Georgia. To strengthen ties with Armenia, RA Ministry of Diaspora, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs, to continue cooperation with Embassy of Armenia to Georgia. The Council decided to convene a session of the Council of the “Hayartun” Center monthly.
