| Gabriel Sundukian National Academic Theatre from Yerevan Made a Tour in Batumi House of Culture |

On August 11-13, 2013, GabrielSundukianNationalAcademicTheatre performed plays “The Caucasian Chalk Circle” and “One Hundred Years Later” in Batumi House of Culture. Performance “One Hundred Years Later” that raises thetopicof genocide,the author ofwhich is PerchZeituntsyan,causedparticularlygreat enthusiasmamong therepresentatives of the Armeniancommunity. The spiritual shepherd of Surb Prkich Church in Batumi Priest Ararat Gumbalyan after the performance invited the theater director Stepan Davtyan and actors to the Armenian Church. Theater troupe on the 14th of August attended the concert of Children'sChoir "Aghbyur" at Surb Prkish Church in Batumi. Priest Ararat Gumbalyan welcomed the audience and noted the importanceof the Armenian theaterart in the lifeof the Armenian communityas the most importantfactor contributing tothe preservationof the Armenian national identity.
