From July 22 to 25, 2018, the four youth activists of the Youth Department of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia participated in a civilian training, organized by Jinishian Memorial Foundation in Aghveran resort, Armenia. The purpose of the foundation is to help young people to express their ideas in various projects through these trainings and to support them in implementing the best of them. Representatives of youth organizations from Yerevan, Vanadzor, Goris and Tbilisi attended the training. The Youth organization was represented by active members of the Youth Department of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia Emil Sargsyan, Stepan Evajyan, Rozita Gambarova and Anna Miskaryan. They made their suggestions concerning the reconstruction and improving works of the Armenian cemetery “Vere” and the Pantheon of the Armenian Writers and Public figures “Khojivank”, which are regularly implemented by young volunteers. The Armenian youth from Georgia also raised the issue of implementing common baptisms in the border villages, as well as the issue of activating it, which was approved by the heads of the foundation and became a subject of discussion. The participants of the training also attended lectures of maintenance and development of Armenian cultural values and preservation of Armenian identity. Another purpose of the training was to introduce to each other and connect the young people from different places through game-competitions, which will contribute to the development and deepening of further cooperation.
