The Primate of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia, His Grace Bishop Vazgen Mirzakhanyan, on November 23, 2017, headed towards the United States of America. The Diocesan Primate is invited to attend the international interreligious conference organized by the Centre for Democracy and Development (CDD), within framework of working visit to the United States of America, from November 24 to 29. The purpose of the aforementioned conference and visit is to support interfaith dialogue, to understand global challenges faced by humanity and the role of religious organizations in finding solutions to the problems, as well as to exchange experience with the USA and establish new contacts. The aforementioned program is being implemented with financial support from the British Embassy to Georgia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Good Governence Fund), in association with the Embassy of Georgia to the United States and the Information Center of NATO and EU. |
