On October 27, 2017, a public school in Big Khanchali village of Ninotsminda region hosted an event of paying homage to merited Armenian language teacher Siranush Ayvazyan, during which the latter was awarded with the “Ambassador of the Mother Language” Medal of the Ministry of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia.

The Ministry of Diaspora awarded Siranush Ayvazyan with the “Ambassador of the Mother Language” Medal for her efforts for preservation of the Armenian identity and for her contributions to the provision of an Armenian education and upbringing for young Armenians.

The honorary ceremony was performed by Director of the Rafael Javakh Cultural and Educational Center, Zhora Snkhchyan, who also transmitted the congratulatory remarks of Rev. Father Armash Poghosyan, the Pastor of the region.

The speakers highly appreciated the teacher for her work, expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia and the administration of the Cultural and Educational Center for appreciation and warranty.
