On August 26, 2017, an initiative group of the “Mkhitar Sebastatsi” Educational Complex in Yerevan performed at the summer concert series in Akhalkalaki. The concerts were entitled “Spiritual Bridges”. The hall in the Headquarters of the Georgian Orthodox Church in Akhalkalaki hosted the first part of the concert, according to its title. In attendance were Metropolitan Nikoloz Pachuashvili of Akhalkalaki and Kumurdo Diocese; Very Rev. Fr. Babken Salbiyan, the Prelate of Samtskhe-Javakheti and Tsalka's General Prelacy of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia; Rev. Father Tatev Marukyan, Pastor of Akhalkalaki and nearby villages; pastor of Georgian Church, Father Aleksandre; representatives in the sphere of culture. The concert featured Shushan Bleyan and Tereza Beglaryan from Yerevan, accompanied by Lilit Arakelyan, as well as Armen Mkoyan and Anahit Stelmashova from Javakheti. At the conclusion of the concert, Shushan Bleyan expressed her gratitude to Metropolitan Nikoloz Pachuashvili and Very Rev. Father Babken Salbiyan for warm reception and the assistance provided. Father Babken extended his blessings and appreciation to the attendees and the musicians. The Holy Cross Church in Akhalkalaki hosted the second part of the concert. It was here that Shushan Bleyan and Teresa Beglaryan sang hymns and psalms. The RA People’s Artist Ruben Matevosyan also attended the concert, who made closing remarks at the end of the event. Later, Pastors of Akhalkalaki and nearby villages, Rev. Father Yeghishe Harutyunyan and Rev. Father Tatev Marukyan extended their blessings to the young musicians and guests. Following the event, surprise waited for the attendees. The Dance group of Samtskhe-Javakheti and Tsalka's General Prelacy of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia and the dance group of the Vachiani village (artistic director and choreographer Naslet Keyan) taught national dances during open lesson in the courtyard of the Holy Cross Church in Akhalkalaki.
