Intellectual Game Called “Study Your Nation’s History” |

On April 30, 2017, the Rafael Javakh Cultural Educational and Youth Center in Ninotsminda at the Armenian Diocese in Georgia hosted the final stage of the intellectual game called “Study Your Nation’s History”. Among the participants were more than 30 students of the Center’s Armenian History courses (teacher - Samvel Putulyan), Religion courses (teacher - Rimma Sahakyan), History of Art courses (teacher – Zhora Snkhchyan). The intellectual game kicked off in the Center a few months ago, competition had two stages. Participating groups, upon receiving 100 questions chosen by the Center’s teachers and approved by the administration, divided into teams according to the subject matter, competed with each other. Later, the most outstanding students divided into different groups formed six teams and met in the finals. The teams competed with each other and demonstrated sound knowledge and understanding of the subject matter. The members of the jury were: the Director of the Center, Zhora Snkhchyan, Satenik Mkrtchyan-Snkhchyan and Deacon Atanas Kirakosyan. The tournament was held according to the rules, had a fixed duration and lasted two hours. The jury selected winners from the finalists. The “Parvana” team, under the leadership of Taguhi Hovhannisyan, won the interesting and informative competition. The Center’s students Milena Bdoyan, Nadia Hovhannisyan, Yeranuhi Khachatryan, Gohar Bdoyan, Laura Mzikyan were named best at the competition. The “Parvana” team received the winner’s diploma, while other participants received certificates. The Rafael Javakh Center’s choir and the members of the recitation club adorned the intellectual game by their performances. |
