On November 20, 2014 an open lesson, titled “The boons of the autumn”, was held in the Primary School “St. Movses the Khorenatsi” (director Yevguenya Markosyan) at the Armenian Diocese in Georgia. The lesson was devoted to the summary of autumn theme. Autumn, with all its boons, had moved to Galust Gyulbenkyan hall, where the Primate of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia, directors of departments of the “Hayartun” center had taken their seats. It was sure visible that the Primary School staff, parents of the pupils, had done their best to show the numerous colors of autumn. And the beautifully and expressively decorated hall was a perfect proof for that.

During the open lesson on recognition of the nature, the pupils showed their knowledge on the seasons of the year, and accordingly illustrated their knowledge on the boons gifted by the nature. Introducing the special changes made by the autumn in our surroundings, the children also illustrated the golden clothing of the forest, the foliage and the sheltering process of the animals. The lesson was decorated with songs about autumn, riddles and the children’s poetry.
The Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church in Georgia, His Grace Bishop Vazgen Mirzakhanyan highly valued the work of the Primary School in enlarging the children’s knowledge about the nature. They also valued the support of the Primary School staff and the parents to hold the open lesson in a full range.
