On March 26-29, 2014, Levon Isakhanyan, Head of the Department of Legal Affairs and Inter-religious Cooperation at the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Georgia, participated in an international conference entitled “The Vocation of the Eastern Christians” organized by the Catholic University of Lyon, France.

The conference was attended by high-ranking clergy, representatives of academic circles, as well as officials of the French Republic.

Levon Isakhanyan presented on Christians of the South Caucasus and participated in a roundtable discussion on International Relations and Alliance Priorities. He spoke, inter alia, about the Armenian Diocese in Georgia, its activities, and issues, including the restitution of the Diocese property confiscated during the Soviet period.
