On December 1, 2018, a concert titled “Faith is steadfast, statehood is irreversible” dedicated to the memory of saint apostles Thaddeus and Bartholomew who brought the light of Christianity to Armenia as well as to the 100th anniversary of the restoration of the statehood of Armenia and Georgia, took place at “Art Hall” concert hall in Tbilisi. The event was organized by the Armenian Diocese in Georgia. It was tribute of Armenian people's followers of 1700 year old Christianity to the memories of saint apostles. The concert was festive and it was an expression of free activity, development of national culture and preservation of identity for the people living outside the motherland as well as for Armenians of Georgia living in their second homeland.
Honorable guests of the event were Georgian MP Davit Chichinadze, the first Secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia to Georgia Arthur Sargsyan, representative of the RA Ministry of Diaspora Taron Shegoyan who has specially arrived in Tbilisi for this occasion, an employee of the Ministry of Culture of Georgia Alexandre Grigalashvili, as well as clergy of the Armenian churches in Tbilisi and regions, heads of centers, numerous guests.
The concert was honored with the presence of the Primate of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia, His Grace Bishop Vazgen Mirzakhanyan.
In attendance were the Choir of Saint Etchmiadzin Church in Tbilisi (Choirmaster Luiza Vardanova); “Surb Nerses Shnorhali” (“Saint Nerses the Gracious”) Choir of the “Hayartun” Center in Tbilisi (Choirmaster Maria Abulyan); “Taron” Dance Ensemble (Choreographer Suren Abramyan); duduk group led by Ivane Mkrtchyan and dhol group led by Robert Kashavanidze; “Hayos Band” vocal – instrumental ensemble headed by Vladimir Asaturov; “Mnate” Georgian dance ensemble of Tbiisi (Choreographers Kakha Markoishvili and Zaza Mzhavanadze); “Nemrut” dance ensemble of the “Surb Grigor Narekatsi” (“Saint Gregory of Narek”) Center in Rustavi (Choreographer Stella Selepanova); students of “Parnas” recital studio of the “Rafael Javakh” Center in Ninotsminda (head of the Center Zhora Snkhchyan); “Javakhk Voices” Choir of Archbishop Karapet Bagratouni Center in Akhalkalaki (Choirmaster Gayane Aghajanyan); “Akhaltskha” song and dance ensemble of “Surb Grigor Lusavorich” (“Saint Gregory the Illuminator”) Center in Akhaltsikhe (Choreographer Veronika Hambaryan); “Nor Shen” dance ensemble of the public school in Tsghaltbila (Choreographer Armine Ayvazyan); “Vank” dance ensemble (Choreographer Liana Kashavanidze); “Ani” dance ensemble (Choreographer Angelina Nazaryan); “Jeyran” dance ensemble (Choreographer Svetlana Yeritsyan), as well as soloists Ani Torosyan, Donara Arsenyan, Rozanna Mikayelyants, Aida Bazoyan Nina Karapetyan and Henrikh Petrosyan.
The concert was opened and the mystery of the day was mentioned by Eugenia Markosyan, Head of the “Hayartun” Center of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia and Suren Abramyan, Director of the Cultural Department.
MP Davit Chichinadze congratulated the attendees and all Armenians on the occasion of the holy church feast, appreciated the role of Christian faith and church in the preservation of language, culture and national identity, highlighted the importance of statehood for Armenian and Georgian peoples and the existence of the first republics over 100 years old.
The concert was conducted by Anna Mikayelyan and Henrikh Petrosyan and Armenian and Georgian songs and dances followed one another as a praise of glorious feasts.
The event was summarized by the Primate of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia, His Grace Bishop Vazgen Mirzakhanyan. Congratulating the attendees on the occasion of the feast of Saint Apostles, His Grace urged to live in the present-day life, which is full of changes, with faith for the apostles, prayers and keep steadfast the Armenian Church with Christian love. Highlighting the feast of the restoration of statehood, Bishop Vazgen called the Georgian Armenians the sons of the two countries: Motherland Armenia as a historical homeland and Georgia, where all nations have a wide range of opportunities to live freely, develop their culture and native language.
His Grace Bishop Vazgen Mirzakhanyan expressed his appreciation to the participants from regions whose songs and dances created a festive and joyful mood.  He highly appreciated the great work done by the Director of the Cultural Department of the Armenian Diocese and the Head of “Hayartun” Center as well as teachers of groups for organizing the concert. This concert, which gathered members of artistic groups, soloists and reciters from different centers operating in various regions and in the capital, became the assurance of unity, steadfastness and irreversibility.
