On November 13, 2018, extremely joyful mood prevailed in the Calouste Gulbenkian Hall of the “Hayartun” Center of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia. The hall was crowded with students of elementary grades of Armenian schools in Tbilisi and preschool, their parents and teachers. The children were hosted by Yerevan “El-Mar” wandering troupe, which was going to perform musical comedy “Snow White and Seven Dwarfs”. This is the third visit to the “Hayartun” Center within the framework of the memorandum signed a few years ago between Youth Creativity Center of the Republic of Armenia and the “Hayartun” Center of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia. Targeting the development of creativeness of youth works, the previous visit was dedicated to ecological issues, now the theater and theatrical topic was in the spotlight with performance of the “El-Mar” itinerant theater, and the third topic would be patriotism. Director of the Youth Creativity Center Nara Aramyan highlighted children's education and upbringing in Armenian spirit and appreciated such visits and cooperation aimed at revealing their creative abilities and talents in various fields of culture. The Yerevan El-Mar itinerant theater, led by its founder and actor Armen Dallakyan, operates with support from educational organization and film studio. The aim is to bring Armenian children closer to the Armenian culture with theatrical performances on various fairy tales, inspire love and kindness through the destruction of the evil and the victory of good. El-Mar itinerant theater performs at least once a month in Yerevan and in regions within the framework of tours, this is the first outgoing performance of the theater outside Armenia and it took place in Tbilisi. Theater performance was charitable. The story of the “Snow White and Seven Dwarfs”, of course, was familiar to the children but the actors and their joyful and masterful playing fascinated the little audience. The laughter and applauses, which expressed the emotional responses of children, did not stop at the hall inspiring both adult and young actors. The joyful mood, which was result of the victory of the good, was concluded with warm ovations, which was also an expression of gratitude of the audience for an interesting performance, masterful play, cheerful songs and funny dances.
