On the occasion of the demise of the Great Armenian, citizen of France and Armenia, National Hero of Armenia, who holds highest state Honorary Cesar Award, legendary chansonnier and benefactor beloved by his nation Charles Aznavour, on October 2, 2018, on the initiative of the Youth Department of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia (Director Valeri Badalyan), Armenians of Tbilisi visited the Embassy of France in Georgia and paid tribute to his memory.
The group of Armenians in Tbilisi,  officials of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia, heads of community organizations, intellectuals, public representatives lit candles with the pain of loss of the nation's great son, laid flowers in front of the late Charles Aznavour's portrait.
The Requiem Service was offered for the peace of soul of the deceased with the participation.The memory of Charles Aznavour will always remain bright in the hearts of people.
