On July 27, 2018, the State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality in Georgia Ketevan Tsikhelashvili left for a working visit to Ninotsminda. The high-ranking official guest was accompanied by Georgian MP Henzel Mkoyan, Heads of Municipality Anivard Mosoyan and Smbat Kyureghyan. Pastor Rev. Father Armash Poghosyan welcomed and greeted the Minister at the Saint Sargis church. Afterwards, a meeting was held with the clergy and faithful. They lit candles and had a short conversation, then, the State Minister visited “Rafael Javakh” Cultural, Educational and Youth Center. Director of the Center Zhora Snkhchyan, Pastors Rev. Father Armash Poghosyan and Rev. Father Ghevond Topashyan, supervisors of the centers' groups and a number of students welcomed the guests with flowers. The meeting between the State Minister and the staff took place, conducted by the Director of the Center. The State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality spoke about the national policy of the country, the education of youth and stability of the teaching of the official language. She thanked the center for their initiative – to establish a Georgian language study group in the center on the basis of Z. Zhvania State Language Center in September. A. Mosoyan, A. Melkonyan, E. Kspoyan, as well as Pastors Rev. Father Armash Poghosyan and Rev. Father Ghevond Topashyan delivered speeches and made suggestions. After the meeting, State Minister Tsikhelashvili and her accompanying officials visited the Hayos – Kartlos Brothers Park of the city and laid flowers at the pedestal of the memorial symbolizing the brotherhood of Armenian and Georgian people.
