On June 17, 2018, the Primate of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia, His Grace Bishop Vazgen Mirzakhanyan was present at the Sunday Divine Liturgy, celebrated at the Surb Khach (Holy Cross) church in Akhalkalaki. The celebrant of the day was Rev. Father Yeghishe Harutyunyan. His Grace offered a sermon to the local residents. In the second half of the day, the Diocesan Primate, accompanied by the Pastor of the Surb Khach (Holy Cross) church Rev. Father Tatev Marukyan attended the graduation ceremony at the “Rafael Javakh” Center in Ninotsminda, which operates under the auspices of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia. Everyone, both the students and teachers had a joyful mood. 27 students of the Center bid farewell to their beloved school. Student’s farewell ceremony was attended by their parents, teachers and intellectuals. The Center’s choir, recitation studio and dance ensemble have prepared a nice concert and presented it with excitement and enthusiasm. All the students of the graduate group received certificates after three years of education and upbringing at the Center. His Grace Bishop Vazgen Mirzakhanyan, Rev. Father Tatev Marukyan, Rev. Father Armash Poghosyan and Director of the Center Zhora Snkhchyan warmly congratulated the students and wished them success. The graduates, their parents and intellectuals of Ninotsminda expressed their gratitude to the Diocesan Primate and the directorate and pedagogical staff of the center for their fruitful and effective work directed to the aesthetic education of the students.
