A1On May 22, 2018, a solo concert of talented pianist Mamikon Nahapetov was held at the “House of Hovhannes Tumanyan” Center of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia. IMG 4070
The talented pianist, graduating from the piano classes of Tbilisi State Conservatoire after Vano Sarajishvili, now is creating his career in Munich, Germany. Every time arriving in Tbilisi, the participant and laureate of numerous international contests and festivals presents his successes to compatriots who with their attention had created the successful path for the artist.
Mamikon Nahapetov, who arrived in Tbilisi to participate in a festive concert dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the First Republic of Georgia, decided to arrange a concert at the “House of Hovhannes Tumanyan” Center and dedicate it to the 115th anniversary of Aram Khachatryan and 85th anniversary of Nodar Gabunia.
IMG 4097Mamikon Nahapetov arranged a concert program, consisting of works of two great musicians for the first time for his compatriots, at the “House of Hovhannes Tumanyan”.
The concert was accompanied by applauses and thundering ovations of the attendees. IMG 4099The audience was fascinated by the marvelous performances of a talented pianist.
The Primate of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia, His Grace Bishop Vazgen Mirzakhanyan blessed the attendees and expressed his gratitude. He highly appreciated the love and devotion of the young pianist to the city and its residents, who gave the first applauses to a diligent, modest and talented musician. The Diocesan Primate recalled the participation of the musician in the choir classes at the Saint Etchmiadzin church in Avlabari, which deepened his love to the keyboard instrument and inspired him to present works of the great musicians. His Grace Bishop Vazgen Mirzakhanyan wished success to the young pianist.
Mamikon Nahapetov dedicates his first album to the jubilees of Aram Khachatryan and Nodar Gabunia.
