On April 1, 2018, the Feast of the Glorious Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ was celebrated with special luxury in churches of Akhalkalaki and nearby villages of the Samtskhe – Javakheti and Tsalka’s General Prelacy of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia.
On the occasion of the Easter Feast or the Glorious Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ, the Divine Liturgy was celebrated by Rev. Father Tatev Marukyan, Pastor of Akhalkalaki and nearby villages, in Surb Khach (the Holy Cross) church in Akhalkalaki.
Lasha Darsalia, Deputy Minister of Reintegration of Georgia, Samvel Manukyan, Member of Parliament of Georgia, Yurik Unanyan, Mayor of Akhalkalaki, Nairi Iritsyan, Chairman of Akhalkalaki Regional Assembly, Armen Marangozyan, Deputy Mayor of Akhalkalaki, Artyush Melkonyan, Representative of the Reintegration Ministry for Akhalkalaki, as well as many faithful came to participate in the spreading of the glad tidings of Our Lord Jesus Christ’s Resurrection.  
During the Divine Liturgy, Rev. Father Tatev read the message of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians on the occasion of the Glorious Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Then he preached and conveyed the glad tidings of the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ to the faithful, gathered in the church.
At the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, Deputy Minister Lasha Darsalia made a speech. He congratulated attendees on the occasion of the feast.
Then, the red dyed eggs, symbol of the Easter, were blessed at and distributed to the faithful in the yard of the church.
The festive Divine Liturgy was celebrated in the Saint Gevorg church of Aragova’s General Prelacy. Rev. Father Tadeos Ter-Mkrtchyan, celebrant of the day; read the message of the Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians on the occasion of the Glorious Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ. At the end of the Divine Liturgy the Easter eggs were blessed and divided into the faithful. Then, Rev. Father Tadeos Ter- Mkrtchyan distributed financial aid to the large families. The “Shushanik” church – loving women’ union of Aragova’s Saint Gevorg church gave food packages to the multiple-child families in the villages of Molit, Chikharola, Azarvet and Zak.
With the festive Divine Liturgies, congratulations and blessing of the Easter eggs the Feast of the Glorious Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ was celebrated in the Surb Khach (the Holy Cross) church in Gumburdo, the Surb Sion (Saint Zion) church in Vachiani, the Surb Khach (the Holly cross) church in Khando, the Surb Khach (the Holly Cross) church in Sulda, the Saint Astvatsatsin (the Holy Virgin Mary) church in Abul, the Saint Gregory the Illuminator church in Chamdura, the Surb Yerrordutyun (the Holy Trinity) church in Alatuman, the Sait Hovhannes Karapet church in Kartsakh, the Saint Astvatsatsin (the Holy Virgin Mary) church in Dadesh, the Saint Gevorg church in Aragova, the Saint Sargis church in Diliska, the Saint Gregory the Illuminator church in Majadia of the Primacy.
