Young Guitarist Gives the First Solo Concert at the Hayartun Center |

On November 17, 2017, young guitarist Levon Aloyants gave the first solo concert in the Calouste Gulbenkian Hall of the “Hayartun” Center at the Armenian Diocese in Georgia. The hall was crowded. Art lovers and appreciators, the young guitarist’s relatives and friends had come to hear the classical music and flamenco performances by Levon Aloyants, whose life-goal is to master guitar technique. Greeting the attendees, Director of the Cultural Department of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia, Levon Chidilyan; introduced Levon Aloyants , who is a student of E.Mikeladze central Music School of the V.Sarajishvili Tbilisi State Conservatoire, to the guests. He has performed with instrumental bands at a number of charity concerts of “Caritas”, however to perform for his compatriots was more complicated and brought greater responsibility. The young man had prepared a special program, having as his goal to create a wonderful evening of art, through performance of works of various composers. The young musician, who was a little bit nervous, pulled the strings with mastery of technique producing expressive sound, evoking emotions, creating different moods – calm, lively, expressive and belligerent, bringing on enthusiastic applause. The congenial atmosphere became emotional, when Levon Aloyants dedicated the performance of Arno Babajanyan’s Elegy to his mother – Gayane Hovsepyan, who was also in attendance. Levon Aloyants was joined by Hayos Band Vocal-Instrumental Ensemble of the Hayartun Center, and performed with them several pieces. The attendees conveyed their appreciation and good wishes. Hayos Band Vocal-Instrumental Ensemble Artistic Director, musician Vladimir Asaturov, who had been listening attentively to the performance, expressed words of encouragement to the musician, exhorting to bring his dedication and efforts to improve his art skills. At the conclusion of the solo concert, Levon Aloyants expressed his appreciation to his teachers Alexander Galustov, Giorgi Tsagareishvili for six years of training and fantastic courses in music. He also expressed his gratitude to Very Rev.Father Michael, Pastor of the Armenian Catholic Church, who had awoken his interest in playing guitar. At the end, the young guitarist expressed his appreciation to the Armenian Diocese in Georgia and the Hayartun Center, established under its auspices, for offering the Armenian youth opportunities of self-expression and organizing his solo concert. In most happy mood the guest left the Center, thanks to the solo concert. |
