On March 3, 2017, Ninotsminda’s “Rafael Javakh” Center of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia hosted an event under the motto: “How are you student doing?” The event, held at the initiative of the Center, was attended by 20 alumni from the region, who attend higher education institutions in Tbilisi and Yerevan. Twelve of them are the former students of the Center.

The event was opened with the Lord’s Prayer and the blessing of Rev. Father Armash Poghosyan, the Pastor of the region.

In his remarks, the Head of the Center, Zhora Snkhchyan, who also served as master of ceremonies, highlighted the importance of ties to former students, urged them to be frequent visitors, and expressed his readiness to provide support and assistance in every possible way. The speakers, Revik Karapetyan, Manushak Gharslyan, Arkadi Putulyan, Sona Vardanyan, Arman Arzumanyan, Zhora Mzikyan, Samvel Putulyan, Arevik Gomtsyan and others emphasized the importance of the event, expressed their words of gratitude to the administration of the Center for the informative and necessary meeting.

A video message by future journalists, Katerine Gharslyan and Yevgine Vardanyan welcoming the meeting participants was shown. The performances, featuring the Center’s choir (Irina Gharslyan), the students of Recitation classes (Satik Snkhchyan) and the dancers, celebrated the beauty and youth and added splendor to the event.

In his closing remarks, Zhora Snkhchyan declared that the meeting would become a tradition, held every year on March 3.
