On March 25, 2016, Easter presents were distributed to socially vulnerable families and lonely elderly people in the Cathedral of Saint George and the St. Etchmiadzin Church in Tbilisi. For the fourth year in a row, the Association of Armenian Women of Georgia “Shushanik” (the Chairman, Susanna Khachatryan) is organizing a charitable campaign with the support of the Diocesan Headquarters and the clergy of two churches in Tbilisi.

With the financial support of the godfather of the Cathedral of Saint George, Yuri Yeremyan, the godfather of the St. Etchmiadzin Church, Karen Sargsyan, active community member Levon Ramazyan and his friends, the parents of St. Movses Khorenatsi Kindergarten (Headmistress, Eugenia Markosyan) and the members of the Association “Shushanik”, over 150 socially vulnerable families and disabled elderly people living alone received presents the day before the Holy Resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Distribution of Easter presents has already become a tradition for the Armenian Diocese in Georgia; the faithful of the Armenian Church participate in it with readiness and pleasure.
