Schoolchildren of RA Tavush Region Frontier Settlements Received New Year gifts from the Armenian Diocese in Georgia PDF Print E-mail

V T

On December 28, 2015, the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church in Georgia, in cooperation with the Ministry of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia, presented gifts to schoolchildren of frontier settlements of the Tavush Diocese.

May peace prevail on earth and in frontier settlements in particular. The Armenian population of Tbilisi has expressed its solidarity with all children of the region and the distribution of presents aims to brighten up their festive mood.

We are hopeful that peace will be established in Armenia’s borders, and preservation of peace outside Armenia will keep the Armenians, living in Georgia, secure.

In the Armenian Churches of Tbilisi on this significant occasion the clergy pray for peace, asking God to keep the soldiers, who protect our borders, safe from all evil and harm and bring them back home safely to their families. The clergy also offer prayers for children to have a safe and carefree childhood.
