On August 16, 2015, during the official visit to Georgia, RA Minister of Agriculture, Mr. Sergo Karapetyan visited Tbilisi Saint Etchmiadzin Church and participated in the Divine Liturgy dedicated to the Feast of the Assumption of the Holy Mother of God. The Minister brought the sweetest types of grapes from the motherland.

When the Liturgy was over, the Primate of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia, His Grace Bishop Vazgen Mirzakhanyan met with Mr. Karapetyan. During the tour in the Hayartun Center, the Primate spoke about the role of the center in preservation of Armenian national identity.

The Primate and the Minister also visited the Khojivank Pantheon of Armenian writers and public figures. The next stop was the Saint Gevorg Vicarial Church in Tbilisi. The head of the reconstruction work, Arzhanik Hovhannisyan welcomed the honored guests and informed in detail about the works already undertaken. The Minster was impressed by the renovated look of the old temple.
