Primate of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia at the Official Reception Dedicated to the Constitution Day of Georgia PDF Print E-mail

On August 24, 2015, the Presidential Palace hosted an official reception dedicated to the 20th Anniversary of the Constitution. Members of Parliament, representatives of Judicial, Legislative and Executives branches of the Government, Georgian and foreign guests were invited to attend the reception on behalf of the President Giorgi Margvelashvili. Among the representatives of diplomatic corps was the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of RA to Georgia, Mr. Yuri Vardanyan. The Primate of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia, His Grace Bishop Vazgen Mirzakhanyan was also in attendance of the event.

Chairman of the Constitutional Court, Head of the Parliament, Prime Minister and President of Georgia addressed to the invited guests – community officials, religious leaders, media and non-governmental organizations.

The guests had a chance to see the exhibits in the foyer of the palace – Book of Law by Vakhtang VI, Constitutions of 1921 and 1995, and the Restoration Act of Independence of Georgia. The official reception at the Presidential Palace was ended with the National Anthem of Georgia.
