Anna

On June 9, 2015, solo performer Anna Poghosova, well known for her brilliant performances of national and contemporary songs performed a concert of love songs in the Calouste Gulbenkian Hall of the Hayartun Center. Sometimes sad, sometimes joyful, but always touching, these songs transported the audience to another reality, confirming that our world is based on love and only love can save it.

Anna Poghosova has been performing since childhood. She used to take special vocal lessons and participate in different contests and festivals in Armenia and Georgia. She was one of the finalists of the“Nutsa Skola” (“Nutsa’s School”) pop songs contest. During the Arno Babajanyan Song Festival in Armenia, Anna Poghosova won first prize, which gave her the opportunity to perform Arno Babajanyan’s compositions together with the Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra.

The evening of love songs was a present from the singer to her audience on the eve of her wedding ceremony. The “Ani” Dance Ensemble (teacher – Angelina Nazaryan-Kocharyan), solo performer Henrikh Petrosyan, duduk and dhol classes of the Center (teachers – Ivane Mkrtchyan and Robert Kashavanidze), the Director of the Hayartun Center, Levon Chidilyan and host Liza Torosyan accompanied Anna Poghosova during her concert.

The concert ended with warm applause congratulations, and wishes that she may start a beautiful Armenian family and have many children.
