On June 27, 2015, young employees of the “Hayartun” Center gathered in the Calouste Gulbenkian Hall. The members of the newly founded Physicians’ Club, the students from Georgia’s different medical universities decided to conduct first aid training for the employees of the Diocese and the “Hayartun” Center.

Third-year student Artur Mikaelyan made a PowerPoint presentation, then the future physician explained in detail all the techniques with the help of posters and volunteers. Second-year students Tamar Simonyan and Verichka Nurbekyan talked about A, B, C, D and E hepatitis types and symptoms and the ways they are transmitted.

The employees of the Diocese and the Hayartun Center thanked the students for providing an interesting and very important lecture. The activities of the Physicians Club are not limited to only conduction of lectures. The volunteers of the club visit lonely elderly people and people with disabilities on regular basis.

The Physicians Club  will continue its series of lectures.
