On July 1, 2015, the “Hayos Band” vocal-instrumental ensemble (Artistic Director – Vladimir Asaturov) of the Hayartun Center gave a professional and high-quality reporting concert in the Calouste Gulbenkian Hall of the center. Solo performers Ani Hovhannisyan and Marianna Sahakyan presented Armenian, Georgian, Russian and English songs to the accompaniment of the ensemble’s instrumentalists (percussions – Sergey Kamalov, tom-tom – Erik Georkov , keyboards – Eduard Zalinyan, guitar – Richard Harutyunyan, bass-guitar – Gari Amirkhanyan). The audience, including the parents, friends and employees of the center, was very impressed and was loudly applauding.

The suggestion to create a vocal-instrumental ensemble made by famous musician Vladimir Asaturov two years ago was accepted enthusiastically. However, soon certain difficulties arose. Many newly registered young members of the ensemble were not familiar with musical instruments. With the support of the Diocese and the Hayartun Center, the ensemble was provided with necessary musical instruments. The efforts of the Artistic Director resulted in high-quality performance and repertoire enrichment.
Levon Shahbazyan, Aida Mesropyan and Maria Abulyan and other musicians appreciated highly the performance. Artistic Director, Vladimir Asaturov congratulated his students and thanked the Primate of the Diocese and the management of the Hayartun Center for provided support and for making his 15 year-old dream of creating band come true.

The Director of the Hayartun Center, Levon Chidilyan in his closing speech gave praise to the reporting concert and encouraged youth and their parents to be close to the Armenian culture, Armenian Church and the Hayartun Center and to contribute to the preservation and development of the Armenian language and culture as far as possible. The reporting concert was hosted by Liza Torosyan and was celebrated by a cake and fireworks.
