Though Armenian people lost their homeland because of the Genocide, they had their valiant battles and heroes, who fought for the rescue of their people”, said the Primate of the Armenian Diocese, His Grace Bishop Vazgen Mirzakhanyan. His Grace thanked those nations and countries that share our nation’s grief, those countries that helped and provided shelter and support to Armenians who survived. “Armenian people treat their past, present and future in responsible way”, His Grace mentioned, “We are re-born through the liberation of Artsakh and reunification with the Motherland, through new achievements in the Motherland and abroad”. The Primate of the Diocese thanked the leader of the Apostolic Department of Caucasian Latin Catholics for organizing and hosting this commemorative evening.
