The final of the tournament took place at brain-ring-style decorated Hayartun Center. The tournament lasted for three months and involved many new teams. Meetings were held almost every Saturday.

General questions and questions related to Armenian language, history and culture – six each – based on logical thinking and reasoning, were chosen very thoroughly by the initiator and organizer of the event, Artak Ayvazyan. They were intended to discover the intelligence of the participants and to fill the knowledge gaps of the audience.

Teams, from Tbilisi’s different organizations and one representing of “Our Future” Youth Union, specially arrived from Batumi, participated in the tournament. “Norashen” youth team and adult members of “Matyan gund” met on January 22, 2015.

In the initial phase, where the general questions were included, “Norashen” team was leading (team leader, Hayk Saakyanc). When the turn came for Armenian studies-related questions, “Matyan gund”, under the leadership of Karen Hovhannisyan, strengthened its positions. They demonstrated great interest in the Armenian history and logical approach to asked questions. An intense and stubborn game ended in a draw. Thanks to the additional time granted by the jury, “Matyan gund” won with a score of 5:4.

The head of Hayartun Center and the head of the jury, Levon Chidilyan, congratulated the winners and thanked Artak Ayvazyan for organizing the tournament and for choosing interesting questions.

Afterwards, member of “Connoisseur Club”, Suren Harutyunyan, passed the tournament cup to “Matyan gund” team. The decision was made to organize such tournaments of “Connoisseur Club” on regular basis.
