On December 27, 2014, the last meeting of “Connoisseur Club” 2014 season was held in Calouste Gulbenkian Hall of the Hayartun Center of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia.

The members of Batumi’s “Masis” team of “Our Future” Youth Union at Surb Prkich (St. Savior) Church (leader Petros Abrahamyan) had taken their seats around the brain-ring table. The game consisted of general and Armenian studies-related questions – six each and of two questions asked by both team leaders. “Masis” team met with three Tbilisi teams in turn. The first meeting was with Tbilisi’s “Cilicia” team (leader Sergey Charukhyan) and resulted in the victory of “Masis” team.

Afterward, adult members of “Matyan gund” (leader David Manusajyan) tried to compete with young representatives of Batumi team. After a stubborn and changing game young experts lost to adult ones, and “Matyan gund” became the winner.

The last competition of the day of “Masis” team (leader Petros Abrahamyan) with Tbilisi’s “Norashen” team ended in the victory of the latter.

Levon Chidilyan, the head of Hayartun Center and the member of the jury, thanked Batumi’s “Masis” team for arriving to Tbilisi and participating in this competition. Petros Abrahamyan expressed his gratitude to Batumi’s Surb Prkich (St. Savior) Church on behalf of the team for the provided support. He proposed that the next meeting of the “Connoisseur Club” be held in Batumi. The proposal was acceptedwith enthusiasm.

Arten Ayvazyan announced that the final part of the competition will take place in January 2015.
