On 3rd December, 2014 the members of the Georgian religious council met again at St. Echmiadzin church, the residence of the leader of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia.The meeting was attended by the leader of Apostolic Department of Caucasian Latin Catholics, His Grace archbishop Giuseppe Pasotto, the leader of the Evangelical Baptist church in Georgia, His Grace Bishop Merab Gaprindashvili, the leader of the Evangelical Lutheran church in Georgia, His Grace Bishop Hans-Joachim Kiderlen and by the leader of the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Georgia, His Grace Bishop Vazgen Mirzakhanyan.

At the meeting was discussed the organization of the ecumenical prayer in 2015. It was decided to read the ecumenical prayer at Lutheran Church on 23rd January, 2015 at 16:00.

The matter of funding, provided for the partial recovery of damages, caused to the religious organizations during the Soviet period, was also under discussion of the members of the council. It was therefore decided to apply to the StateAgency ForReligious Affairs of Georgia for the allocation of fundings to be considered separately from the matter of fundings related to the return (restitution) of the property of the Soviet period religious organizations.

The problems, discovered when identifying the religious belonging (affiliation) of the citizens of Georgia during the population general census, were also discussed. The council agreed to apply to the Statistics Agency of Georgia in order to inform that for the Georgian religious minorities the census lacks in credibility and calls into question the objectivity of the results.

It was decided to arrange a meeting with the representatives of the Georgian Orthodox church, related to the issue of so called rebaptism of the believers of other religions.The issue of applying to the Georgian judicial bodies for the return of the property of religious organizations was discussed as well.

The leader of Apostolic Department of Caucasian Latin Catholics, His Grace archbishop Giuseppe Pasotto, informed his spiritual brothers about the visit of His Grace Cardinal Kurt Koch, president of the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity.

The members of the council agreed to meet again at the residence of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia and to delegate the leadership of the council to the Evangelical Lutheran church in Georgia in 2015.
