On June 8^th the youth department of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia (director ValeriBadalyan) organized an expedition to a nearby Tbilisi forest. Lead by the department’s employees over 40 active members of Tbilisi Armenian Church, the group took the direction of Tskhvarichamia open air champing side in mini-vans, where they enjoyed their Sunday in the beautiful countryside.

The organizers were well prepared for the trip. Creative ideas and activities made this unforgettable day in nature joyful and fun. Every single member of the group participated in the games and competitions, the winners of which were granted special gifts and awards.

Traditional Armenian barbeque (khorovats) was prepared and served accompanied by songs and music, which was concluded by the Armenian traditional round dance, after which the youths and the organizers headed back home, bringing memories and positive feelings with them.
