Levon Chidilyan, coordinator of the “Hayartun” Center at the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Georgia, has sent an open letter to RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan, expressing on behalf of the “Hayartun” Center sincere gratitude for high appreciation of the center’s work and contribution, as well as for receiving the 2^nd prize in the Best Community Organization category of the annual Armenian contest “For notable contribution to preservation of the Armenian identity”. The Counsel of the “Hayartun” Center and its staff has unanimously decided to give designated cash prize (300 000 AMD) to Syrian Armenian Relief Fund. The letter also informs that on April 6 the “Hayartun” Center together with other Armenian organizations will attend the requiem service in memory of the victims of Syria’s war in Surb Etchmiadzin Church of Tbilisi, and a protest action in front of the United Nations Office in Georgia and Turkish Embassy will take place.
