The “Hayartun” Educational Cultural and Youth Center at the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Georgia received a prize PDF Print E-mail

On March 28 the results of the 2013 Awards “For notable contribution to preservation of the Armenian identity” as a part of the contest declared by the Ministry of Diaspora, the World Armenian Congress and the Union of Armenians of Russia were summed up and diploma awarding solemn ceremony was held. The “Hayartun” Educational Cultural and Youth Center at the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Georgia was among the contest participants. Levon Chidilyan, Head of the Cultural Department at the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Georgia and coordinator of the “Hayartun” Center, attended the solemn award ceremony.

Armenians from different countries participate in this contest “For notable contribution to preservation of the Armenian identity” every year, and the “Hayartun” Educational Cultural and Youth Center at the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Georgia in the Best Community Organization category received the 2nd prize.

The Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Orthodox Holy Church in Georgia on behalf of the clergy, the employees of the Diocese and the Armenian community of Tbilisi congratulates the creative team of the “Hayartun” Center and wishes every success in their creative work in preservation of national culture in Georgia, dissemination of Armenian language and transferring it to a new generation.
