On the 23rd of June, 2013, at the invitation of spiritual shepherd of Adjara Armenians Priest Ararat Gumbalyan, dance ensembles from Armenia “Hrazdan” and “Sisian”, and the group of duduk players from Hrazdan visited Surb Prkich Church in Batumi. The guests presented to the huge audience the Armenian national dances, joint duduk, dhol, and other instruments performances, and live performance of folk songs.

The local Armenians greatly enjoyed the organized concert; they inspired with enthusiasm and welcomed with applause the young performers. This concert was another reason to become closer to the motherland, folk songs, dances and historical roots.

Priest Ararat Gumbalyan handed out diplomas to artistic directors of dance ensembles, choreographers, duduk players’ leader, as well as to all the participating members of the ensembles.
