On June 13, 2018, the evening of recitation of Melania Barseghyan took place at the “House of Hovhannes Tumanyan” Center of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia. The latter is RA Honored Artist, Holder of “Grigor Narekatsi” (Gregory of Narek) and “Movses Khorenatsi” (Moses of Khoren) medals, Laureate of the “Best Female Actor” Award for various performances of women roles, awarded by the Theatre workers union of Armenia and Georgian Theatre Company, leading actress of Tbilisi State Drama Theatre after Petros Adamyan.
The advisor of the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Georgia, people who are familiar with actress Melania Barseghyan, representatives of the Armenian community in Georgia who highly appreciates her art and always remembers the heroes embodied by the talented actress were present at the event. She has wonderfully presented the character not only of Armenian women, but also other nationalities. The amazing reading of “Book of Lamentations” made an unforgettable and indelible impression.
Candidate of Philological Sciences, Professor Emma Akhtyan offered opening remarks. Afterwards, the actress herself conducted the evening with her beautiful recitation.
Attracting the attendees with recitation of masterpieces of prose and poetry, talented actress touched upon pages of Armenian literature from the Golden Age to modern era. The actress presented works of Eznik of Kolb, Yeghishe, Gregory of Narek, Nahapet Kouchak, Sayat – Nova, Hovhannes Shiraz, Victor Hovsepyan, Anahit Bostanjyan and other writers. The poems presented by Melania Barseghyan, captivated the audience with their magnetism of speech, fetching representing and artistic charm.
The poetry samples were harmonized with prosaic quotes, artistic performances, skilful representing, which the actress intertwined with artistic episodes taking the attendees away into the world of emotions and feelings expressed in poetic speech.  
Though the words are not enough to evaluate Melania Barseghyan's artistic skills, nevertheless, the artistic director of Petros Adamyan Tbilisi State Armenian Drama Theatre Armen Bayanduryan, editor of “Vrastan” (Georgia) newspaper Van Bayburtyan, public figure Samvel Aghekyan and other guests highly appreciated the event of the talented actress. It was proposed to invite high school students to participate in such events.
The performances of Armenian songs by Aida Bazoyan, the soloist of the “Hayartun” Center of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia were in line with the emotionality of the evening.
