On December, 2017, the delegation of the Composers Union of Armenia, led by Chairman Aram Satyan, visited the Hayartun Center of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia. Director of the Cultural Department of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia, Director of the Hayartun Center, Levon Chidilyan; greeted the delegates. Composers and musician from Armenia toured the Center. They visited the Sunday school, were introduced to the training courses, learned about the fact that in the Center there is only one preschool named after Movses Khorenatsi operating in Tbilisi, where is laid the foundation for Armenian education of Armenian children. The guests visited the Calouste Gulbenkian Hall, viewed the exhibition showcasing paintings by seven young painters from Artsakh, attended the lesson of the Taron Dance Group, and talked to the dance group’s choreographer and members. Let’s add that the delegation of the Composers’ Union of Armenia had arrived in Tbilisi at the invitation of the Composers’ Union of Georgia. From December 10 to 11 the musicians from Armenia participated in Modern Armenian Music Days held at Tbilisi Art School № 10 named after Aram Khachaturian and at the Composers’ Union of Georgia concert hall, and during those days performed chamber musical works of 14 Armenian composers. |
