On November 13, 2016, the interest to the activities of the Ayb educational complex in Yerevan and Dilijan brought together the attendees, who took their seats in the Calouste Gulbenkian hall of the Hayartun Center at the Armenian Diocese in Georgia. The Armenian community of Georgia has an urgent dream to create a national school, hence, the interest in the Ayb learning environment which has elementary, middle and high schools, is understandable. Ayb School Head Aram Pakhchanian who had specially arrived from Yerevan on this occasion spoke in detail about innovative education model.

Speaking about 10 years old Ayb School, education system and Ayb Foundation, the School Head referred to a wish of a few individuals to create high quality learning environment in Armenia, through which unrivalled of its region public education model operates today. Mr. Pakhchanian illustrated the structure, teaching methods, combination of different subjects in the school providing internationally recognized and strong education. Ayb School has no classes, it has automatically created groups, there is no form-master or grading system, there are no diaries or class journals. There is electronic system instead of it, marks are based on feedback. Ayb School uses the 100-point grading scale.

Emphasizing the importance of access and fairness in education in Armenian language, the speaker highlighted that the courses at school are taught in Armenian, curriculum is comprehensive. Here they raise a new generation capable of changing the country, responsible to nourish the future of the country.

Later the guest answered the questions of the audience about the structure and administrative model of the school, financial aid and tuition fee, admission process and preschool education, the school labs and equipment.

Ayb School Head instilled hope in Armenians of Tbilisi, promising that Ayb educational complex would help in creating the national school in Tbilisi in case of having suitable school building.
