On October 7, 2016, in the run-up to the Georgian parliamentary election, 2016, David Chichinade, MP Candidate of Georgian Dream in Isani district, ended his election campaign by meeting with voters on Avlabari Square.

Before the meeting, the MP Candidate visited the St. Etchmiadzin Church in Avlabari and attended the Evening Service.

The Yerevan garden square territory, imbued with inherent to this district love and warmth of multinational population, was crowded. The meeting was hosted by actress of Tbilisi State Drama Theatre after Petros Adamyan, Nano Poghosyan; she relayed greetings from the Primate of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia, His Grace Bishop Vazgen Mirzakhanyan, wishing the MP candidate good luck.

The speakers, Ruslan Poghosyan, Ilia Jishkariani, Givi Shakhnazari, Armen Bayanduryan, Van Bayburtyan, Genrikh Muradyan, Giorgi Demetradze and others unequivocally highlighted David Chichinadze’s love and dedication to the Avlabari district, noting that he maintained friendly relations with people around him, and expressed hope that after entering the Georgian Parliament he would make caring for Isani district and local residents a top priority.

Meeting participants emphasized the activities of the Georgian Dream party, which continued to be a guarantee of peace, protection of human rights and minority rights, freedom of speech and religion, fruitful work, friendship among nations in the country.

Addressing the locals, David Chichinadze promised if elected to office to continue supporting Isani district and local residents from the rostrum of the supreme legislative body.

On October 8, on Election Day, the Primate of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia, His Grace Bishop Vazgen Mirzakhanyan did his civic duty and voted for peace, prosperity and in the country, hoping for strengthening of the friendship between Armenians and Georgians.
