At the initiative of LEPL Information Center on NATO and EU, in the framework of NATO week, on April 16, 2016, the Armenian youth took a tour of Georgia’s Presidential Palace. Students from Javakheti studying at public institutions of higher education in Tbilisi and activists of the Youth Department and the Hayartun Cultural Educational and Youth Center at the Armenian Diocese in Georgia, were in attendance at the event.

The first stop of the introductory tour of Armenian Youth, headed by Michael Avagyan, Head of Legal Affairs and Cooperation Department, Nina Seropova, Youth Programs Coordinator, Keti Kupradze, Chief Specialist at Information Center on NATO and EU, was Ekvtime Takaishvili Hall, where official meetings are held.

The Armenian Youth saw the monument constructed from 67 heart-shaped glass fragments, which represents the multi-ethnicity and religious diversity of Georgia.

Later, the President’s Advisor for the issues of Ethnic Minorities, Sophio Shamanidi, met with the group of Armenian youth of Georgia. The young people shared their impressions and discussed different issues during the meeting.
