On December 21, 2015, an annual general meeting was held in the Samtskhe-Javakheti and Tsalka's General Prelacy of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia; it was attended by all Prelacy clergy members. The meeting began with the Lord’s Prayer; then the floor was given to Rev. Father Hakob Sahakyan, who presented the agenda. The Very Rev. Fr. Babken Salbiyan, the Prelate of Samtskhe-Javakheti and Tsalka's General Prelacy of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia, gave opening remarks. The clergy presented a report on the current state of affairs, spiritual, cultural and educational activities in their parishes during the meeting.

The participants spoke in detail about the achievements and flaws in the activities of every parish, consequently suggestions were offered to make the spiritual service and preaching more efficient. In particular, the Prelate raised issues concerning the establishment and efficient work of the women and youth unions in the parishes during the meeting. The Prelate gave his assessment and praised the works undertaken by the clergy in his closing remarks. He wished the clergy fruitful spiritual work in the communities entrusted to them.
