Presentation of the Scientific Educational Centre in Yerevan at the “Hayartun” Center PDF Print E-mail

On October 18, 2015, the “Hayartun” Cultural, Educational and Youth Center at the Armenian Diocese in Georgia hosted a meeting imbued with a friendly spirit. The main purpose of the meeting was to throw the doors of one more educational establishment wide open for young people. The Scientific Educational Centre in Yerevan of Ternopol National Economic University (Ukraine) offers public school students and prospective university students an extensive range of study options at both the undergraduate level and graduate programs leading to master’s degree.

The Armenian, Georgian and Ukrainian youth, their parents, and high school graduates were gathered together in the Calouste Gulbenkian Hall. Mr. Georgii Nazarov - Charge d'affaires of the Embassy of Ukraine in Georgia, Sahak Ghudratyan, Director of the Scientific Educational Centre in Yerevan of Ternopol National Economic University (Ukraine), the editor of "Vrastan" ("Georgia") Van Baiburtyan et al graced the event with their presence.

The aforementioned university student’s trio welcomed the audience and performed a piece of music.

After that the audience took a video tour of the Scientific Educational Centre in Yerevan of Ternopol National Economic University (Ukraine) to see activities conducted in the university.

Director of the Scientific Educational Centre in Yerevan, Mr. Ghudratyan delivered a speech. He told the history of the university’s branch in Yerevan. The Ternopol National Economic University was established in 1966 and has the 4th level of accreditation. Here the individual and work curricula are systematized and implemented in accordance with the Bologna Process. The university diploma is widely recognized by colleges and universities around the world (in 82 countries). The admission process for the established in 2001 university’s branch in Yerevan, the quality of education and student’s everyday life have been presented at length.

The Director of the Scientific Educational Centre in Yerevan answered the questions of the audience mainly concerning the faculties of the higher educational establishment, tuition fee, benefits offered, the language of studies and diploma. Mr. Ghudratyan introduced the university graduate Khachik Papakhchyan to the audience, who represents the university’s branch of Yerevan in Tbilisi. He announced that the higher educational establishment continued to receive registration applications until November 8, 2015, and the university representative would answer all questions about the admission process.

Mr. Georgii Nazarov , Charge d'affaires of the Embassy of Ukraine in Georgia, and Director of the Scientific Educational Centre in Yerevan Sahak Ghudratyan took a tour round the “Hayartun” Center, while the Director of the “Hayartun” Center, Levon Chidilyan told the guests about the center’s work and activities. The guests expressed their delight and shared impressions with the “Hayartun” Center’s administration.
