On October 11, 2015 Blessing of the waters service held in Armenian Churchis of Georgia, led by the Primate of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia, His Grace Bishop Vazgen Mirzakhanyan. In all communities, cities and regions, where Holy Chrism was blessed by Pastors, a big crowd was there to participate.

In Akhaltsikhe Saint Gregory the Illuminator church the water was blessed by newly appointed Reverend Father Torgom Vardanyan. In Akhalkhalaki Saint Cross church the ceremony was conducted after Divine Liturgy by Pastors Yeghishe Haroutyunyan and Tatev Maroukyan, and in Saint Gregory Church of Arakova village it was conducted by Pastor Tadeos Ter-Mkrtchyan. In Ninotsminda Saint Sargis church the blessing ceremony was led by Pastor Armash Poghosyan, and in Batumi Saint Savior church by Pastor Ararat Goumbalyan accordingly.

The Very Reverend Father Khoren Hovhannisyan, Pastor of Armenian communities in Kvemo-Kartli region held a Sunday liturgy and blessed the Holy Chrism in the Holy Evangelists’ Chapel of Karmir village.

In Saint Etchmiadzin church of Tbilisi the Sunday liturgy was held by Sacristan Manouk Zeinalian. Upon completion of the mess/liturgy the Primate referred to people, saying that on September 27 Holy Chrism is blessed in all Dioceses with the Chrism blessed in Holy See Etchmiadzin by His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, which is a way to transfer to all the dedicated the blessing of belief in Church and unity around it.

The Primate Vazgen Mirzakhanyan blessed the Holy Chrism and distributed it to people, who took it home.
